Is my payment secure?

Absolutely. All payments on StayDekho are processed through bank-grade 256-bit SSL encrypted gateways. We support UPI, credit/debit cards, and net banking. We never store your card details, and every transaction generates an instant confirmation receipt sent to your email.

Can I cancel my booking?

Yes. We offer a flexible free cancellation policy for most properties — full refund if cancelled 7 or more days before check-in, 50% refund if cancelled 3–6 days before. Cancellations within 48 hours of check-in are non-refundable. Specific cancellation terms are always displayed clearly on each property page before you book.

What is a caretaker and what do they do?

A caretaker is a dedicated staff member assigned to your specific property for the duration of your stay. They welcome you on arrival, give you a full property walkthrough, assist with any requests during your stay — such as arranging meals, firewood, or local activities — and are your primary point of contact if anything needs attention. Every StayDekho property comes with a caretaker included.

Are the properties exactly as shown in photos?

Yes — every property on StayDekho is personally visited and photographed by our team. We do not allow hosts to submit their own photos without our verification. If you ever find that a property significantly differs from its listing, we'll offer you an immediate rebooking or full refund with no questions asked.
